Day-01 Arrive Christchurch
Arrive at Christchurch International Airport. Met and greeted by Kiwi Holidays representative and coach captain. Christchurch city sightseeing includes the graceful Avon River, Hagley Park, Mona Vale and Canterbury University.
Day-02 Christchurch - Mt. Cook - Queenstown
Journey from Christchurch to the Mt. Cook area via Tekapo. Stop and view the lovely glacial Lake Tekapo reflecting surrounding mountains. Nearby see the bronze sheep dog statue and visit the simple stone Church of the Good Shepherd. At Mt. Cook take an exhilarating optional scenic flight over the amazing alpine region, weather permitting. Travel to the picturesque holiday resort of Queenstown. Stopover at the pretty historic gold mining settlement of Arrowtown. At Queenstown view the serene and stunning Lake Wakatipu, which lies in an ancient glacier valley.
Day-03 Queenstown - Dunedin
Depart Queenstown for Dunedin - the city with a rich Scottish heritage. Dunedin city sightseeing includes; the eight-sided Octagon in the centre of the city, St Paul's Cathedral, the Town Hall, the historic Railway Station, and the University of Otago. Visit the steepest street in the world.
Day-04 Dunedin - Christchurch
Travel back to Christchurch with scenic stops en route to view the unique scenery that only New Zealand can offer. Stop at the "white stone city" of Oamaru to see variety of 19th century buildings.
Day-05 Christchurch / Rotorua
Transfer to Christchurch Airport for a flight to the cultural and thermal wonderland of Rotorua. Visit
rainbow spings to see Rainbow trout, the kiwi bird and other wildlife in a natural environment. Watch and learn at the interesting and fun
Agrodome farm Show. In the evening be treated to a traditional Maori hangi feast and be entertained by a Maori concert.
Day-06 Rotorua - Waitomo - Auckland
Visit the Te Puia Maori Arts And Crafts Institute; see the kiwi bird and traditional Maori arts and crafts, bubbling hot mud pools and spurting geysers! Travel to Waitomo where you will visit the incredible Waitomo Caves formed from limestone and the amazing Glow-worm Grotto illuminated by hundreds of tiny glow-worm lights. Proceed to Auckland, "the City of Sails". Enjoy farewell dinner including lobster, abalone, Peking duck, salmon fish with champagne wine.
Day-07 Auckland / Overseas
Auckland city sightseeing includes; the Harbour Bridge, Yacht Club, Mount Eden - Auckland's highest point, and downtown Queen Street. Transfer to Auckland International Airport to depart for a flight bound for home, taking with you unforgettable and pleasant memories of a wonderful "Kiwi Holiday."
